An Act of War

An Act of War is a story of a war veteran suffering from mental illness. It’s a story of a solider, his up’s/down’s and his struggle to adapt to the civilian life. Very well written, directed and pictured.
Amazing piece of acting by Russ Russo and not to forget that it’s a very nice thriller.
A must watch.

Hunterrr

Hunterrr is Yet another movie in the Bollywood league of sex comedies but luckily it’s not vulgar.  An average work by debutant director which feels stretched and could have been better. Movie story oscillates between past & present confusing the audience but it doesn’t have much to be confused about.
On the whole it’s a good attempt with average cinematography. Everyone has acted very well.
Music won’t stick to ears.

Dirty Politics

Dirty Politics is a kichadi of drama and suspense but both are missing from it. It has a loosely tied plot with zero attention to details. The story is something like fight between ego’s with spice of sex scandal which taste bad.
Having veteran actors like Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, and Anupam Kher was a waste. Even director was not able to use the oomph of Mallika Sherawat.
Music is below average.
It will be dirty time waste watching it, give it a miss.

Roy

Roy” will take you on a ride of imagination, not sure if something like this have been attempted before. It feels little stretched and confusing, but then comes a twist that clarifies everything in movie with some emotional drama… typical Bollywood.
Arjun looks as classy as ever and Ranbir has a low key role but does justice. Jacqueline is not so impressive.
Music is good, my favourite is sooraj dooba hai.
Cheers for director and actors to attempt such a story in Bollywood, but it could have been better. A good watch.

Hawaizaada

"Hawaizaada", as the name might suggest is a movie on Indian aviation discovery. This movie is inspired by the real life story of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade. In 1895, this man constructed India's first unmanned plane. The movie attempts to depict his story, with a too much romantic twist! Is it possible to make a Bollywood movie without Love? Tough one.....
Vibhu Puri (Director) has tried to do justice to such a remarkable story, but has failed to do so. At times, there is rather too much emphasizes on the romance, between scientist and Sitara.  At times, the story is confusing, doesn't follow through the plots appropriately, and seems too long.
Star performance by Ayushmann, there was nothing much to be done by Pallavi and a pleasure to watch Mithun Da, a vintage bollywood action in modern movies.
The movie has average music, and my favourite one is Dil-E-Nadaan.

Tevar

Age old story of a politician liking a girl and a street guy saving her. Movie has nothing new to offer, weak story line and unwanted violence. Arjun is likeable with his looks, Sonakshi has championed these kind of roles and others don’t have much to do. Skip it.

Baby (2015)

It’s a story of few people madly in love with their country, who are ready to go to any extend to protect it. At time it feels dragging but on the whole not a bad movie. Strong story line, few resemblance to real life situations. Khiladi is back with power pack acting, Kay Kay and Anupam are ask good as ever. On the whole, a good watch.
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Kay Kay Menon

I

‘I’ is a movie getting its name from a rare virus… can u believe that? This movie is an experiment with beauty & beast concept grossly gone wrong. It’s very long, feels tiring and not entertaining. Amy looks mesmerising and Vikram has shown good physique. On the whole a good performance by all but weak and boring story fails the movie.

Ishaqzaade

Ishaqzaade is based on old tried tested bollywood romantic formula but once again director tries to bring focus on the resistance faced by love birds of different religion in small towns.
Ishaqzaade is developed on the backdrop of rustic north India with so much thrust on violence that romance has somewhat got lost. Parineeti, Arjun’s performances are good and it won’t hurt to watch it with such wonderful music.

American Pie: Reunion

American Pie reunion is all set to bring back the nostalgic feeling of watching previous ones in collage... Magically, producers were able to bring back everyone to make it look like a real reunion. All have grown up into cliché versions of their younger selves and maybe seeing them grow older is more sad then funny or maybe its nostalgia.
Like the franchise, American Pie reunion is full of brain less slapstick, humour and unabashed ranch. A good watch.
